How to leverage corporate entrepreneurship to foster organizational growth?
The relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and business growth has been largely analyzed by the literature. Lately, this topic has gained a growing interest as a result of the turbulent and changing context in which organizations operate.
The literature offers two distinct definitions of corporate entrepreneurship.
- Corporate venturing: the process by which an established company creates a new business distinct from the parent company.
- Strategic entrepreneurship: redefining an existing organization.
Thus, if corporate entrepreneurship seems beneficial - how can we foster that behavior within the organizations? And most importantly, how can we measure it? In this article, McKinsey provides some insightful information on how to launch a corporate business.
